About Recreate Life
Recreate Life provides occupational therapy services to clients across the lifespan with physical, psychosocial, intellectual and neuro-developmental disabilities. Trained to provide trauma-informed and client-centred care, dedicated and experienced occupational therapists are here to support you in your journey towards a meaningful and abundant life.
Recreate Life primarily services participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and privately-funded individuals. Home visits are available in Southern Adelaide and Adelaide Metro. Tele-health services are available Australia-wide.
Our Services
Functional Capacity Assessments
Our functional capacity assessments are tailored to evaluate individuals' ability to perform tasks in their daily lives, work environments, or specific activities. We utilize evidence-based assessments to identify strengths, limitations, and recommendations for enhancing functional abilities.
Assistive Technology Prescription
At Recreate Life, we specialize in prescribing assistive technology that empower individuals to engage in meaningful activities and improve their independence. Our recommendations are personalized to address specific needs and promote greater participation in daily routines.
Minor Home Modifications
We provide home assessments and recommendations for minor modifications such as grab bars, ramps and anti-slip or visual modifications. This can be provided in the context of a client with high falls risk, increased physical impairment or sensory challenges in their current environment.
Tele-Health
Access our occupational therapy services remotely through tele-health sessions. Our tele-health services enable individuals to receive expert guidance, intervention, and support from the comfort of their homes, ensuring continuity of care and promoting accessibility for all. This is a viable option to reduce spending on provider travel if you live in remote areas or locations outside of our service provision.
Ongoing Therapy
Ongoing therapy can be provided in homes or schools within Adelaide Metro and Southern Suburbs, South Australia on a case-by-case basis. Ongoing therapy aims to support individuals in achieving therapeutic goals that enhance their function and independence in daily living activities.
